of COURSE i’m gonna try it every time i go!
they have LED hula hoops at DCA’s glowfest!
AND you get to try them!
birthday week hula hooping!
If I die, please show this at my funeral.
more drunken hula hooping in the MGM Grand.
this is quite possibly my favorite video of mandy, ever.
Pretty sure this is acceptable to post, but only because Martina is wearing a bathing suit under her dress! If it were real underwear, no way. It’s called double standards, guys. Get some.
drunken hula hooping in the MGM Grand!
a little bit of a frustrating night tonight, but it wasn’t a complete waste! despite an off-day for hooping, i still worked out the waist-to-lasso in both directions [for the most part…]
p.s.
sorry for the awful lighting…
quick update
after about a week of recovery from all sorts of non-fun stuff, i finally got to get back to hooping!
here’s a quickie update:
new trick learned: waist to lasso lift [both directions]
in progress: waist to lasso lift with turn, chest hooping, leg hooping [it’s soooo hard!!]
polishing: turns [both directions], waist to neck [both directions], hand hooping
mastered: waist, hips, waist to hips, hips to waist [basics!]
new videos to come, soon!
recovery
i’ve been waiting for a couple of bruises to heal before i got back to practicing tricks and such…
as luck would have it, my body finally succumbed to seasonal allergies, so i’ve been walking around with a head that feels like a balloon, blowing my nose every five minutes.
translation: allergy medicine that’s making me want to stay in bed all day.
i can’t wait until all of this passes so i can be back to hooping!
because one bruised shoulder isn’t enough…
today, i taught myself how to hoop from waist to neck in the opposite direction [meaning the hula hoop was going counter-clockwise, since i naturally hula hoop clockwise].
now BOTH of my shoulders are bruised.
oh well, at least they match!
i have a feeling i’m gonna be sore tomorrow…
after i get this trick down, it’s on to leg hooping!
i learned a new trick today!
hooping waist to neck [and back].
it’s not perfect yet, but it will be.
i’m still working on this trick in the opposite direction…
[the music is by benny benassi, but i forgot what the song was called…]
